Sun Room
Our "Sun Room" is devoted to the development of language and literacy. Letter formation with Handwriting Without Tears materials, making mail and dramatic play are just a few of the meaningful activities that take place in this room.
Big Room
The "Big Room" (our large middle room) offers many art activities, as well as sand and water play. The art center in this room is based on the atelier found in Reggio Emilia schools.
Block Room
Our "Block Room" is dedicated to math and science experiences and, as the name implies, houses our extensive collection of wooden blocks. Other materials that support scientific thinking such as cars and ramps are also housed in this room.
Moon Room
The "Moon Room" is utilized by the 4 Day class for meetings and by everyone for small group project development. The bulk of our school library is housed in the the Moon Room, although books are readily available to the children throughout the entire school.
Playground
Our playground features a climbing structure, sand box and tricycle track! Time outside allows the children to connect with nature, as well as develop their large motor and social skills.
